Uke, Hook: Introducing The "So, You Think Uke Cool" (TM) Uke-Sweater (TM) Gig Bag

This is the "I-Slayed-And-Skinned-A-Dragon-With-My-Ukulele-To-Make-This-Uke-Sweater" (TM) Gig-bag that I made for my neighbor's soprano.

If you already know how to make a Crocodile stitch, you can make one yourself! "In progress" pictures and a link to instructions below:

BOOK! A witchy classic

The Witch Family: One of my all-time favorites. I'm about to Kindle this from Amazon, and kindle some nostalgia, as well. This is the Harry Potter of its day, hefty enough to keep the kids enthralled at 240 pages. Check out some of the phenomenal illustrations here.

HOOK, UKE: Leash and Loop

You can make your own uke-leash (half strap) with a shoestring and a bit of paracord. The connector is a Quick Tag Change from Petco. I crocheted the arm loop with some soft Chenille from my yarn stash.

UKE! Say hello to my little friends ....

My Lanikai Soprano is "Clarabelle."
My Concert sized Kamoa is nameless. I'm open to suggestions.

LOOK! Some 1920's-style flair....

HOOK: A little black fleur-de-lee
